CleanChoice Energy buys clean, renewable energy on the open market. Like any other commodity, energy prices fluctuate. We buy the most affordable, regional clean energy available to us. If the price of renewable energy goes up on the market, it will go up for our customers on variable plans. If it goes down, our customers will pay a lower price. If you don’t want a variable price, we offer fixed price plans as well, which allow you to lock in a fixed rate for the length of your contract term.
